Écorce has started the year off with a bang. The agency distinguished itself at the prestigious HOW Logo Design Awards 2016, which receives more than 1,000 submissions from international designers every year.
Its work for Espace Public Brasseurs, made the top 10 in two categories of the contest: logos and visual identity. And this isn’t the first time Écorce has been honoured by this prestigious contest. In 2014, the agency received recognition for its logos for Berendo and, in 2012, for its logo for the EN MASSE collective.
These prizes were just a few of those garnered in 2016 by the agency’s projects. During the How International Design Awards, Écorce received four Merit Awards: in Identity (for SDC Hochelaga-Maisonneuve), Video (for Ludia’s Hors-Jeu 2016), and Advertising and Packaging (for Espace Public).
Furthermore, the website for Jean-Pierre Morin’s exhibition Entre terre et ciel, created for the 1700 La Poste account, was awarded a Boomerang prize in the category Site or Application–Arts and Culture, as well as a Special Kudos at the CSS Design Awards. The agency also received two honourable mentions for the same account at the Awwwards for the websites for two recent 1700 La Poste exhibitions, Entre terre et ciel and Les mythologies singulières. These two websites were developed in collaboration with Kffein.
