A full mantle in 2017

What better way to start the year than by looking back on some of our brightest moments? Our team at Écorce had a lot to be proud of in 2017!

 

At the 23rd annual Boomerang Awards, organized by Infopresse, we snagged the 2017 Grand Prix Boomerang—a first in agency history!—for our digital work for Le Devoir. We also won top honours in the Site or Application (Media) and Acquisition Strategy categories for the launch campaign behind the Le Devoir mobile app.

Our invaluable partnership with the newspaper also earned accolades at the inaugural North American Digital Media Awards. Our annual Je soutiens Le Devoir campaign was named the year’s best digital advertising campaign, and the Le Devoir mobile app was a finalist in the Best News Mobile Service category.

Meanwhile, our creative work for our friends at the Espace Public brewpub garnered further recognition on the global stage, winning in the Advertising and Packaging categories at the HOW International Design Awards. Looks like we aren’t the only ones who are crazy about that pigeon! We were also among the champs in the Identity and Video categories for our work for the SDC Hochelaga‑Maisonneuve and Ludia’s 2016 Hors‑Jeu conference.

Maudite Poutine—a collaboration with KFFEIN—was voted “website of the day” on two occasions, first by the CSS Design Awards and then by FWA.

And last but not least—we promise to stop after this one—our agency was featured in the eighth edition of Los Logos for our designs for the Monument-National and the National Theatre School of Canada.

All in all, 2017 was a pretty stellar year. It certainly sets the bar high for 2018!
